PAL Announces to Open 8 New Domestic Flight Routes

As its rival company is seeking to make some big progress, PAL on the other hand likewise made one major move to get along with the rapidly growing industry.

Following the announcement made by its rival airline company regarding its plan to hire more cabin crew, the Philippine Airline is now set to open several new domestic routes.

According to a recent news report, Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced that it will finally open eight new domestic routes from Clark and Cebu in the first quarter of this year.

The new Clark to Cebu route has been launched last January 30 and is expected to operate four times a week. The first flight of the new route will depart at 7 o’clock in the morning and soon will increase to daily by March 26.

Meanwhile, the Clark to Davao flight will be launched on February 1 and will be operating three times a week. By March 26, its service is expected to increase to four times a week.

Domestic flights from Clark to Puerto Princesa and Coron will soon be launched on March 26.

The four new routes which will be Cebu to Puerto Princesa, Cebu to General Santos, Cebu to Surigao and Cebu to Coron will be launched on March 26 as well.

So far, the new routes from Cebu will bring to 12 PAL’s total number of domestic points, other than Manila to Cebu.

In a statement released by PAL’s President, Jaime Bautista, he said and we quoted:

"We are introducing new domestic routes to allow travelers to reach their desired destinations without the need to transit in Manila. Passengers get to experience the unique PAL brand of service even on short flights,"

As PAL provided some more accessible domestic flights to travelers, you may now expect the number of travelers to boom from this year and beyond.
