[RECIPE] Steamed Tilapia

As a full time working mom, and a part time blogger, thinking of an easy-to-cook dish is always a challenge since obviously, time is very important.

Therefore, this healthy dish is one of my favorite particularly in times that I have no enough time left to cook.


• 1 kilo tilapia fish (or any white meat fish)
• Ginger
• Sliced onions
• Lemon grass
• Celery sticks
• Green chili
• Salt and pepper

Cooking Materials / Equipment :

• Aluminum foil
• Steamer

Direction :

1. Season tilapia with salt and pepper, and then place it in the aluminum foil.
2. Top the fish with ginger, sliced onion and lemon grass, celery sticks, and green chili and then wrap it with aluminum foil.
3. In a steamer under medium fire, steam the wrapped fish for about three (3) to five (5) minutes.
4. Serve with calamansi and soy sauce as dipping sauce.

It’s best served with hot rice while some just love it as beer match.
