SWS Survey Says Duterte Achieves Record-high ‘Excellent’ Rating

President Rodrigo Duterte achieved a record-high “excellent” net satisfaction rating according to a nationwide survey taken during the last quarter of 2017.

In a recent nationwide survey conducted by the Social Weather Station (SWS) in the last quarter of 2017, it was revealed that Duterte administration has achieved a record-high “excellent” net satisfaction rating.

The poll result claimed that President Duterte’s administration surpassed the record achieved by former President Benigno Aquino III in June, 2013.

According to the survey taken from December 8 to 16, 79 percent of Filipinos said they were “satisfied” with the current administration’s performance while 9 percent claimed they were “dissatisfied” and some 12 percent were undecided.

The recent survey result revealed a new record-high net satisfaction rating of 70 percent, which was classified as “excellent” by SWS.

“This is a 12-point rise, and up by one grade, from the very good +58 (71% satisfied, 13% dissatisfied) in September 2017.. This surpassed the previous record of very good +66 achieved in June 2013 (of the) Noynoy Aquino Administration,”

The survey firm attributed the current administration’s gains to new record-high net satisfaction scores in three areas – Mindanao, Metro Manila and Luzon, and the steady score in Visayas

Records showed that the current administration was able to secure an “excellent” net satisfaction ratings of 87 percent in Mindanao and 71 percent in Metro Manila while Luzon got “very good” rating at 67 percent and Visayas at 57 percent according to the poll.

Furthermore, SWS claimed that the administration also received an “excellent” net satisfaction rating from class D, while it got “very good” ratings from classes E and ABC.

The polling body likewise revealed its very own “Governance Report Card” where the current administration was assessed based on some 18 particularr performance subjects.
